I was born 1977 in Osterburg (Germany). I have a state-approved degrees as Diploma Digital Artist and Diploma Business Economist (VWA). I finished my art degree in August 2008.

Visual effects of movies have always been of particular interest for me. From childhood on I have been fascinated by movies. When I was a schoolchild I went to the cinema every Monday with eager and happy anticipation. One of my favourite animation series was "The Spirit of Mountains" and my favourite fantasy movie was "The Fabulous World of Jules Verne" by Karel Zeman.

In 1988 I had my first contact with a C64 and a KC/85-3. What an exciting time! A few years later my parents bought our first PC. My first 3D-application was POV-Ray.

My passion for movies remained with me. Today, working in the film industry, I am the person who creates visual effects.
